Butterhole Bakeshop is a licensed Connecticut cottage food bakery in Trumbull, CT, obsessed with a twist on Korean salt bread.
The name is a joke. The bread is not.
Butterhole Bakeshop started the way most good things do: Tiktok and a lifelong dream! After watching countless videos of that ooey gooey crunchy salt bread squeeze, we trekked to NYC and tried both of the popular spots and fell in love. Wanting to share a bit of our Korean pride and joy with our community is everything we could ever ask for. And so our journey to bring it to Connecticut began. We hope you are as obsessed with it as we are!
We bake in small batches out of a licensed cottage kitchen in Trumbull, Connecticut, using creamy butter, flaky sea salt, and simple ingredients. Everything is hand-shaped, baked the morning of pickup, and nothing sits around long enough to stop being fresh.
